Therein lies the difference between liberals and conservatives. In NYC with a population of millions where 4 in 5 are young leftwing extremists, you can't pay people to lift a finger to help the community. In my conservative city, you could find 19 volunteers from my church alone to shovel snow for the common good.

There is a woke leftwing neighborhood in my city that has a Unitarian Universalist Church on a prominent corner. Earlier we had a snowstorm that didn't melt for weeks. The sidewalks in front and beside that church remained untouched. In that liberal enclave, they couldn't find one teenager or one church member to shovel their walks. That to me said it all.
