This table shows the annual deficit for every year since 2000:

People should study it so they can get informed on the deficit and who did what.

Biden inherited a massive $3+T/yr deficit from Trump, then Biden plummeted that down to only $1.3T/yr in 2022.

Please explain to me how Biden is wrong or did bad? He lowered the deficit significantly from what he inherited. We can also all clearly see Trump increased the deficit every year of his presidency (pre-covid), how is that good?

Yea it’s called COVID hysteria where everyone believed the lying ass media and “medical experts” that it was the end of the world so they forced shutdown the economy.

You're table misses out on .. why?

and sheeple, like yourself, keep focusing on numbers instead of the reason WHY Trump spent money in 2020 .. and I know you were complaining as you were cashing those checks or unable to make those rent payments!

tell us Why, what, how and when .. instead of just .. what

That would require “theBanker” to be honest.

You don’t collect shekels being honest.

LIES

You are just going to ignore the 3 years pre-covid when Trump ramped up the deficit massively???
Trump and the GOP passed massive multi-year, multi-trillion dollar spending bills, then the deficit soared in 2017, 2018, 2019, and was predicted to be massive in 2020 pre-covid.

Trump increased the deficit every year of his presidency.
Biden has lowered the deficit substantially from what he inherited from Trump.

The tax cuts plus COVID...
How is it good? It isn't.
However the market boom that was about to occur just before COVID hit would probably have wiped out most of the deficit. We'll never actually know.

What happened to the deficit in 2017, 2018, 2019???

The answer scares you.

You can't handle the facts and the truth.

Covid was just the last year of his presidency. Trump ramped the deficit massively the first 3 years.
The deficit was predicted to be massive in 2020 before covid hit, don;t kid yourself on "wiping out the deficit" that's a laughable thought.

Trump needed QE 4 in 20-19 because his economy was too weak to stand on its own 2 legs. Go look that up.

And he wanted MORE.

I remember it....I also member shutting down the entire economy. Stupid thing to do. QE is also stupid. It's nothing but an overdue credit card bill.

Well yes, yes they are.
That's where these people are at.

Just ignore the facts you don't like and pretend they didn't happen. All while saying everyone else is fake news.

Then complain that the deficit is Biden's fault when he actually has lowered it, something no republican president has done in like 50 years.

Leave covid out of it.
The covid excuse is getting lame and pathetic.

The deficit was a massive disgraceful problem pre-covid. The Republicans fucked that up pre-covid.

Covid just made a bad situation worse, AND Trump signed all those bills, pumped them with wasteful pork handouts to his constituents, and begged Congress for more money.

The projection lowers it...
Nothing has happened yet
This is a ten year plan. It's a good direction let's hope it sticks.

Can't do that. It shut down the economy...leaving it out is classic cherry picking. It didn't just happen here It happened all over the world same way All economies went under during that shutdown and most have not yet recovered.

The deficit was out of control before covid hit.
Covid is not an excuse for Trump's massive debt and ever increasing deficits because the republicans blew up the deficit pre-covid with massive spending bills.

Leave covid out of it?

Ok.

Then lets ignore the covid unemployment numbers and compare trumps 3.5% to Bidens 9%.

You can't ignore covid when it doesn't suit you and then focus on it when it does.

huh?

Where do you get 9% unemployment??

Trump ramped up the deficit to the extreme pre-covid.
Covid is not an excuse for Trump's mega debt and deficit and deficit ramp up.

On top of that Trump signed every bill post covid and pump the bills with massive amounts of pork and wasteful handouts to his big money constituents, then he begged congress for even more money
