I can‘t speak to your whole rant here (let me just say “wow”), but I’m not sure you understand the poster from the Smithsonian that is vexing you so. Calling “White Culture” dominate need not be pejorative. It simply observing. And the traits it lists are acknowledged as celebrated traits from the areas of Europe that populated early North American settlements. What the poster is trying to show is that not all traits that are positive are from that tradition. For example, in many cultures it is seen as paramount for a father to provide financial comfort for his family even if that means being completely absent physically and emotionally. A little off for western culture but I don’t think any of us could deny how that act, regardless of whatever short comings we may see, is rooted in the desire to be “good”.
I think one of the hardest things we all have to deal with in the world are other people who have values and priorities that are not the same as ours. It is very easy to see diverse ways of being as on a scale of good or bad. However, in a nation like ours it is incumbent of all of us to not just tolerate culture and belief different from our but to also embrace it. This does not mean change one thing about how you see the world other than clearing some space for others to exist as well.
Acceptance of other perspectives need not lead to adoption of their beliefs.

There is no institutional racism, no white supremacy, and unless Democrats gain total control, there are no bars to anyone else who does not hurt others, to exist.

Your writing and thinking are a bit frenetic here, but I think I have a handle on where you’re are coming from. I do not doubt for a second that you see intentional moves to diversify the starting places of presuppositions as attacks and disruptions that are real and intentiona. This being said, by simply observing the construct of our collective set of values it is obvious that most come from a single culture (and there is nothing wrong with that). All that is being pointed out is that the people in authority make the rules and set the norms. It is that same group that creates the images and tropes that are valued,celebrated, feared, and despised. The only way to avoid this idea of multiculturalism in the US is if you subscribe to the idea that some races are superior, where others are inferior.
The real question is are we psychologically brave enough and spiritually secure enough in who we are and what we believe that variations on our beliefs are not seen as an existential threat. I agree that attempts at equity are clumsy and often misguided and that if I were not a member of the dominant culture, they would seem more immediately necessary.
Have you heard of “the Doll test” that was used by the Supreme Court in Brown vs the Board of Ed? An interesting google search awaits if your are interested.

Even if he wins, it will be what Wall Street calls a 'dead cat bounce,' just a hesitation in the downward spiral.

Look at what the Republican Party has....no one with the fight that Trump has.

Many (and I mean many) African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans are very thankful that the country is still essentially run by Euro Americans.

In public, they may have to applaud diversity, but they secretly fear for their great-grandchildren's well-being when the country is no longer a predominately Euro American nation.

Just as ALL ethnicities should shout a big "THANK YOU" to the cops who are our only protection against the mob, so too should ALL Americans shout a big "THANK YOU" to Euro Americans who have made this the greatest country in the history of the world.

Maybe you try thinking instead of being an Asian getting played by racists and writing posts that stink of white victimhood. Whites have a history they have bragged about. But they have only bragged about half. So while it has been fine for them to define history by making themselves heroes and everybody else weak inferior creatures conquered and saved by the great benevolent ******, they now want to cry when ****** has been shown to be as imperfect as the way they described everyone else. I descend from people who did all the work while whites watched. With every thread you create, with every post you make, you show everyone a person who has accepted racism to the point that you exibit severe psychosis.

I can‘t speak to your whole rant here (let me just say “wow”), but I’m not sure you understand the poster from the Smithsonian that is vexing you so. Calling “White Culture” dominate need not be pejorative. It simply observing. And the traits it lists are acknowledged as celebrated traits from the areas of Europe that populated early North American settlements. What the poster is trying to show is that not all traits that are positive are from that tradition. For example, in many cultures it is seen as paramount for a father to provide financial comfort for his family even if that means being completely absent physically and emotionally. A little off for western culture but I don’t think any of us could deny how that act, regardless of whatever short comings we may see, is rooted in the desire to be “good”.
I think one of the hardest things we all have to deal with in the world are other people who have values and priorities that are not the same as ours. It is very easy to see diverse ways of being as on a scale of good or bad. However, in a nation like ours it is incumbent of all of us to not just tolerate culture and belief different from our but to also embrace it. This does not mean change one thing about how you see the world other than clearing some space for others to exist as well.
Acceptance of other perspectives need not lead to adoption of their beliefs.

This being said, by simply observing the construct of our collective set of values it is obvious that most come from a single culture (and there is nothing wrong with that). The only way to avoid this idea of multiculturalism in the US is if you subscribe to the idea that some races are superior, where others are inferior.
The real question is are we psychologically brave enough and spiritually secure enough in who we are and what we believe that variations on our beliefs are not seen as an existential threat. I agree that attempts at equity are clumsy and often misguided and that if I were not a member of the dominant culture, they would seem more immediately necessary.

Many (and I mean many) African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans are very thankful that the country is still essentially run by Euro Americans.

You keep reposting that one part, but whites dismantled families, discouraged individualism by enacting racist laws and policies, enslaved people to do the hard worked, disabled objectivity for racial stereotypes, denied progress for all non whites, excluded the accomplishments of others in writing and made being able to read and write illegal for blacks, a continuing record of violent white racism shows a record of impolite behavior, respect for authority is non existent, whites have never practiced delayed gratification, they made certain non whites could not plan for the future and a bunch of other things that you willingly avoid talking about.

Whites are not the only people having such values, but they are the ones who denied others of the chance of equal participation in this system for an equal period of time.
