Strong leadership in a pandemic is the difference between the worst and best performance in the world. Defeating the virus is not rocket science. All it takes is leadership that is committed, convincing and consistent in leading the people to victory. Unfortunately, Donald Trump's leadership has been none of the above. He has consistently refused to set an example for the people in following the guidelines, downplayed the seriousness of the virus, questioned whether the guidelines are appropriate, and has even said it's up the individual as to whether they want follow the guidelines. This is ******* insane.

Well, I think we all know what would not happen with either Obama or Biden. Neither would have called it just the common Flu and downplayed it's seriousness, told the public that following CDC guidelines was an individual choice, and encouraged the states to open up the economy when the president's medical advisors as well as most medical authorities were all waving the yellow flag. Some people say Trump did not provide the country leadership. I disagree he lead the country to become number one in deaths, number number 1 in positive cases, and an economic disaster that few countries have match. US unemployment stands at 11.1% compared to the EU with 7.4%, China with 5.7%, South Korea with 4.3%, Japan with 2.6%, Australia with 7.1%, etc... What Trump failed to realize is controlling the epidemic is critical to fixing the economy. What a complete fool.

You actually believe Biden or Obama would have gone against the advice of medical advisors, and encouraged governors to open up the economy even when the virus was spreading, downplayed the seriousness of the virus when the WHO was warning nations of the potential dangers. Neither you nor Trump could sell that to the American people. Biden or Obama would done what any sane president would have done, given top priority to controlling the virus and listen to their science advisors.
