That's another example of the intentional irrelevancy in our schools. I went to a Catholic school that wouldn't teach altar-boy Latin. My class in Classical Greek wouldn't teach the New Testament, which should be a Greek primer even in the secular schools. It's much easier to learn.

This attitude is on the command of the ruling class. That want graduates who can put up with boredom and irrelevancy. Too much thinking threatens the bosses.

I am a Chrisitian I would say ... but I also study other religions and have beliefs in other religons as well. Like Gnostic Christian I guess you can say. I believe in Christianity and Jesus, but I also read the Quran and believe in Muhamad, I also read the Torah and believe in the teachings of the prophets in the old testament. I also study Buddism and Hinduism and practice Meditation. I also study Taoism. I also believe in Occult knowledge. I have been a member of several magical groups.

I voted no religion, but more specifically I'm an atheist. For most gods I'm a weak atheist (what most people mean when they say agnostic), but for the Abrahamic god I'm a strong atheist. From a certain point of view you could say that I'm a pantheist, but since the pantheist conception of god is so far removed from what nearly everyone thinks about the word god that I find it a bit deceptive to use the word god here at all.
