Of the 32 wealthy nations 31 have universal health care. They cover every citizen in the nation. In fact, many second tier nations have universal health care. But the US does not. And 68,000 citizens die each year because of that, in spite of paying more per citizen than any other nation on earth for the health care system we have. The majority of citizens agree we should have universal health care, but the men making billions off our present system have bought enough of our elected officials that it is not happening. The Democrats need to make this a major issue in the coming elections.
