A little something for trump backers to keep in mind before the next time.........

Each of Berg80's posts should be seen as another opportunity to analyze her character.

This one makes me suspect that she is nothing more than a paid or upaid DNC operative, desperately hoping to be an "influencer" on a message board. At times, though, I have suspected that she is a Republican/Trumper who is doing a parody of the typical TDS-addled Democrat.
The absence of a bounce this year - his favorability ratings have hovered around 40% in recent months - could be a sign of deepening political polarization between Republicans and Democrats. In December 2016, about a quarter of Democrats viewed Trump favorably. This month, only about one in 10 did so.
Early in Trump's first term, his presidential job approval ratings reached a high of 48% in Reuters/Ipsos surveys conducted between February and April of 2017.

By mid-2017, amid accusations that Trump mishandled classified documents and pressured a top law enforcement official to stop probing his campaign's alleged ties to Russia, the Republican's approval ratings fell to around 40% and largely stayed there for the rest of his term.

How anyone could have a favorability rating above 15% after the devastating evidence of the two impeachable offenses he committed, followed by the guilty verdict in the fraud case, the verdict in the sexual abuse case, obstructing the classified docs case, and......you know........that other matter, is fascinating.

It requires a curious blend of previously unseen (in American politics), unconditional devotion and a disturbing willingness to not accept as real that which is being observed. It's like Stockholm Syndrome on a mass scale.

In polarized America, 41% of Americans have favorable view of Trump, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds

WASHINGTON, Dec 17 (Reuters) - About two in five Americans view U.S. President-elect Donald Trump favorably, fewer than when the Republican was on the cusp of his first presidential term, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll showed.
Some 41% of respondents in the three-day poll, which closed on Sunday, said they viewed Trump favorably, while 55% viewed him unfavorably as his Jan. 20 inauguration approached.

A single poll is not the final word on this matter and to be frank I was a little surprised at the result. But the negative impact inflation had on Dem's, and the positive impact a better turnout among Repub voters had on Repubs, does not translate to the popularity for Dotard you think it does. At least that's what the numbers say.
Here we go, the leftist press is on board with the 2016 playbook....

Do you remember the first time you said to yourself, regarding something to do with trump, "I refuse to believe that's true." Was it what he admitted to in the Access Hollywood tape? Or him being required to shut down his foundation because he stole from it?

What psychological mechanism did you use to channel the normal reaction, disgust, away from him and on to something else? For example, who did you end up blaming for him taking charitable contributions and the spending the money on himself?

I saw Prog rousing speeches on arguing the budget just passed. Representative Rosa Delauro made hers on that compassion. Then we find out she was not worth much when she started and now is worth over 16 million dollars. Go figure.

Gee, that doesn't come close to answering my question. Does self reflection regarding your blind devotion to trump make you uncomfortable?

It tells us that when congress votes, nothing else matters and those who you support are corrupted as they come. It is so easy to be a Prog.

Let's try this one more time.

Does your memory need to be refreshed?

This billionaire reportedly paid $60K for a portrait of Trump. He was allegedly reimbursed by Trump’s charity.

Should I take your refusal to answer my questions as a sign you haven't really given your feelings about trump much thought? Or that you have but would rather not talk about it?

You still think Biden is mentally fit?

I'd really rather not see the thread get derailed before one of you trumples answers my question.

I think the constant lies about him by the left and politicos prosecutions is why so many Americans are drawn to him now and see him as America’s Mandela

I was lied to by the people I support and made a fool of myself for years. Showing I have no credibility and don't think for myself. Then you bring Trump up, thanks for proving my point, without a doubt.

I see. So it's the lies he's told that cause you to love him. Did you realize he admitted to the violations causing his foundation to be shut down?

As part of a resolution of the lawsuit announced on November 7th, Trump was ordered to pay $2 million, or $250,000, a piece to eight different charities. Those charities are Army Emergency Relief, the Children’s Aid Society, Citymeals-on-Wheels, Give an Hour, Martha’s Table, the United Negro College Fund, the United Way of National Capital Area, and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Additionally, Trump was forced to reimburse his namesake foundation $11,525 for sports paraphernalia and champagne purchased at a charity gala, which was added to $1,797,598.30 already in the foundation’s bank account. The combined $1,809,123.30 was split evenly and recently transferred to the eight agreed upon charities. Each charity ended up receiving a total of $476,140.41.

Additionally, as part of the settlement, Trump was required to agree to 19 admissions, acknowledging his personal misuse of funds at the Trump Foundation, and agreed to restrictions on future charitable service and ongoing reporting to the Office of the Attorney General, in the event he creates a new charity. The settlement also included mandatory training requirements for Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump, which the three children have already undergone. Finally, the settlement required the Trump Foundation to shutter its doors last December and dissolve under court supervision.

His admissions are detailed here.

Maybe you need to ask yourself that question....For instance, when it was revealed that the Clinton foundation was a slush fund for the Clinton family, did you outright dismiss that as false?

When Hunter was funneling 10% to "the Big Guy" did you say to yourself 'that's not true? Nah, find a mirror dirtbag....

Yeah and he didn’t steal from it for personal gain. Did you bother to read anything?

See post #34.

Do you think your refusal to answer my question is telling? If you have not yet examined the source of your unconditional devotion don't you think you should?
