A.I. will strive to rule or destroy us

The world better be careful.

Those who worry about AI "taking over the world," watch too many movies. Ultimately, AI survives on electricity. Cut off electricity and you cut off AI. Pull a plug, shut down a power box, or a power station, or emit an EMP, and you are back in charge.

What about when A.I. is put into autonomous war machines? Never say never.

The world better be careful.

When robots are requiring me to prove that I am a human to access a website. . .
When automatically generated information is fed to me as fact. . .
When we are getting closer and closer to everything we use from appliances to transportation to electronics is controlled by unseen forces that are not human. . .

We really have waded into uncharted and potentially dangerous waters.

I think of the plots in "2000 Space Odyssey", "I robot", "Vger" (Original Star Trek movie), "WOPR" in "War Games", etc. Can we say those are scenarios that simply never could happen? How many imaginative movie plots or other fiction over the years turn out to be prophetic?

IA has such marvelous potential and possibilities. But only an idiot could not consider the drawbacks and dangers too.

The AI models get trained by what humans do. They don´t have actual intents. They are just doing what humans do. They reflect humans.
