A grievous administrative error.

Link to Associated Press report: Trump administration argues judge can't order return of man mistakenly deported to El Salvador | AP News

In response to legal actions on behalf of the man's wife, the White House explained our government's grievous error as “an administrative error”.

However, rather than quietly attempting to remedy our government's error, Why are they NOW further escalating the case?

Am I wrong to suppose, if after our government attempts to remedy our nation's error and finds it's much less or not feasible to comply with the judge's order, it's only then federal lawyers should “tell it to the judge”?

Nope.

How the hell does the dnc/establishment have money to pay these liars?

He is an MS-13 terrorist, of course.

He is well and legally, deported. The judge should be impeached but the GOP lacks the votes to enforce it so the Congress needs to pass legislation limiting the scope and jurisdiction of all District Judges to just their districts.

I agree that a great injustice was done… she should have been deported with him. I know she’s a US Citizen, but in my mind harboring an illegal should be a deportable crime as well.

The husband of a U.S. Citizen was legally working in the USA. He was not a “harbored illegal”.
Even the White House was impelled to acknowledge the deportation was an“administrative error”.

MisterBeale, you asked, “How the hell does the dnc/establishment have money to pay these liars”?

Do youbelieve the Trump administration was lying when federal lawyers admitted the man's deportation was an administrative error, or do you think the Democratic National Committee contributes to the funding of Trump's White House, or possibly you post resposes before you think things through?

Grievous? Did the illegal alien gang member get deported?
Sounds like the right thing happened.

I hope the rest of the illegal aliens are making travel plans to peacefully self-deport,
before any more errors happen.

He was deported as a TDA member when he was MS-13. He should have gone with the other MS-13 members being deported.

It's just a shame but the president of El Salvador refuses to send the guy back. So, there isn't really anything anyone can do about it. Administrative errors happen.

Trump wants to be dictator, to rule by fiat unfettered by Congress or SCOTUS.

I think that it ends horribly.

Independent thinker, if the USSC rules in our executive branch's favor on this question, it's only a matterof time before it will not be unusual for any future U.S. President to grievously punish anyone who displeases them or their administrations. President Trump has little concern for our U.S.Constitution, federal or state statutes.
He disrespects and/or disregards our laws, our democracy, and women generally. We the people (in aggregate), voted for him. We deserve the consequences due to our decision. Respectfully,Supposn

If their president refuses to release the person then there is nothing anyone can do. However, we have seen several grievous examples of democrats seeking out liberal courts and activist judges who issue nationwide rulings, handcuffing a president from being president. These judges should not be allowed to issue nationwide rulings.

1. The "administrative error" was sending him back to El Salvador after a US judge said he was in jeopardy there "from a rival gang", not the government. He could have been deported to any other country, and it would be perfectly legal.

2. Since when do we care about the well-being of MS-13 members? That judge should revise his order to send Garcia back to El Salvador where MS-13 members are put in prison. He is where he belongs.

We are talking about this guy, and a President who make the leader of El Salvador dance upside down.

Yes, Presidents will become dictators because people think the President is above the law. No.

No, he is not. That puts all of us eventually being in similar jeopardy. Just because your MAGA the President will not rend you if he gets pissed at you.
