A glitch in the search function?

You can search for a word or words, and you can also tag by a poster's username.

So if I search for the word "Tumbleweed", I except to see thread posts containing the word "Tumbleweed" in bold. So loads of search results appear, but with only the odd rare one with the bold "Tumbleweed".

All the others are by a poster containing "Tumbleweed" in their username.

So it's kinda glitching over to poster's names too.

What specifically are you trying to locate? I did a search on "Tumbleweed" and the search function returned 15 pages of results.

The first page includes this thread but only one in which the word "Tumbleweed" is bolded in DOGE Get's Its First Victory"

The reason I suspect that you don't see the bolded search word in the rest of them is because they in all liklihood appear further down in the comment and you would have to open the entry to see the word.

If there is something specific you're looking for, such as those who have responded to your comments instead of those comments authored by you, try entering more than one search value such as "Tumblin Tumbleweek" "Elon Musk" just as an example. See if this narrows down your results sufficiently.

And feel free to respond in a PM instead of here if you'd like.

No, it's because of the poster Tumblin Tumbleweed, 99.9% of the search results are his/her posts because of the username.

I searched for Tumbleweed to see if anyone discussed that it's a Hollywood icon in films, but it's an invasive species from Russia in the 1870's.

I've found that on most sites their search feature would be better represented by clicking on a potato icon.

The one here is one of the better ones.

It may just be a setting in his own account that is affecting the search.

The problem is with me, I might want to post a gif of tumbleweed to a poster that went quiet on a question I asked, but my brain wants to know why tumbleweed, what tumbleweed is, why is in America etc.. So whilst doing that, I'm Googling about tumbleweed.
