A funny thing happened on the way to MAGA.

Trump is getting negative marks on immigration, polls show

President Donald Trump is losing ground with voters on one of the key focuses of his second administration, as his approval rating on immigration took a slight hit in multiple polls this week.

As Trump continues to ramp up his sweeping immigration agenda — touting deportations of alleged Venezuelan gang members and crackdowns on sanctuary cities across the country — several polls put him underwater on immigration, an issue that took center stage during his 2024 campaign.

When a distinction is made in polling questions between immigration policy and border security I believe orange Orban still gets favorable grades. It may be the only category for which he is in plus territory.

Dotard called Biden the worst prez in history. The historical record makes a mockery of that claim. Popularity does not necessarily equate to greatness, or failure. But on that measure no one has ever been worse than Don.

The notable thing being how quickly it happened across virtually every issue. It's as though turning the public against him is the point.

Predictable reply. They certainly have no interest in working with someone who is doing what he's doing. Which is pretty much the point. Rather than being a petulant, lawless, unhinged would be autocrat he could have proposed a moderate agenda in recognition of the diverse desires of all Americans. But he gave in to his malevolent impulses instead, driving a divisive wedge between extreme MAGAists and everyone else.
Trump has moderate agenda

The problem you have is your 21 percent approval party has been overcome by fascist and there is no point in working with fascist

I am sensing a pattern here. If polling data shows his popularity is fading the pollster must be biased. If a judge rules against him he or she must be a Democrat, activist judge. If a district attorney seeks charges against him he or she must be corrupt. If he loses an election it must have been rigged. If a grand jury votes to indict him they must all hate trump. If a jury convicts him it wasn't a fair trial.

He believes he is infallible. He's instilled that belief in The Following. Clearly, he is not. Don't you think it's time to start thinking for yourself and acknowledge he is in fact slipping in the polls, even a Fox poll, for good reason?

It didn't have to be this way. trump could have built on the momentum on the border created by Biden's EO making the qualifications for asylum protection much more stringent. Despite the lies (open borders) and exaggerations (an invasion) of the problem, the public wanted to see a tougher approach to illegal immigration.
Wow, so many Dem lies packed into a partial paragraph.

^^^ When Dems hope you don't have the facts and just buy their propaganda. Like the FACT that Joe Biden ASSHOLE printed instructions for the illegals on how to SCAM our asylum process and handed them out to illegals IN MEXICO. Or the FACT that 500,000 of Joe Biden ASSHOLE illegals failed to show up for their fake ass scam asylum court dates, because they would be f'ing deported because they f'ing never qualified for asylum in the first place.

There are two kinds of polls. Fake polls of 1,000 random adults, oversampling democRATs to be used for a news headline, and professional polls of 3,000 + likely voters used by political parties to get a reading on public sentiment.
I will continue to point out the media's fake polling. Deal with it.

For anyone interested, here is the dirty little secret about polling:

One of the more notable implications of the study is evidence suggesting people in other countries might be able to participate in polls intended to measure American public opinion. Other researchers have documented foreign respondents in India and Venezuela participating in American social science research using crowdsourcing platforms. This study confirms those findings. Some 5% of crowdsourced respondents were using an IP address based outside of the U.S.

All I know is he is polling twice a good as your party

You're the one in denial of reality, not me. What is it preventing you from seeing why a majority of Americans would object to Garcia being denied due process? It goes against what people rightly believe is the legal way things should be done.

Is it a belief Don can do no wrong?

Garcia had due process

Generically speaking, would you describe a multi-faceted plot to subvert the will of a majority of voters in order to install yourself as the un-elected prez as treason?
2020 was stolen

That's why Kamala got millions less votes.

If it wasn't for fraud and harvesting mills democrats wouldn't win anywhere.

Turns out Robert's was in on the election theft. One day he will face justice as the AI reveals all.
