Uhhhh, did you not notice what he did to X when he bought it?How many billions of his $400 billion comes from the government and us taxpayers? If he began DOGE with himself, maybe he'd be taken more seriously?

Gutting, or putting back to where it should be?
You mean making it a beacon of free speech?Uhhhh, did you not notice what he did to X when he bought it?
I mean back to where the returns that get audited are not from the middle-class guy just trying to survive and keep his family afloat. Now, you can wax pious that everyone's return should be routinely audited, but that just makes the IRS not only the most feared collection agency in the country, but a bullying arm of the current administration. We've already seen what it can do when it's weaponized against conservatives, do you really want an enraged TRUMP! to have control of such an agency? You mean back to where tax returns can’t be reviewed?
That and cutting vast numbers of jobs, making the company more streamlined, etc. The point is, he's not afraid to cut excess. You mean making it a beacon of free speech?
Oh, normal tax payers will still be reviewed....it's the billionaires whose tax returns who won't be able to be reviewed properly by the IRS without the increased staff to go against their millions spent on tax accountants. You mean back to where tax returns can’t be reviewed?
He lost a lot of dem influenced revenue and dem viewers/bots, but it is slowly ticking up again by other means. That and cutting vast numbers of jobs, making the company more streamlined, etc. The point is, he's not afraid to cut excess.
There are like 700 billionaires in the US. The IRS needs tens of thousands more staff to handle that many?Oh, normal tax payers will still be reviewed....it's the billionaires whose tax returns who won't be able to be reviewed properly by the IRS without the increased staff to go against their millions spent on tax accountants.
Madison Avenue already thinks America is mostly black.![]()
So Trump nixed your bullshit DEI job
unherd.com
This guy gets it. Our Beloved President has done all taxpayers a big favor by signing a "death warrant" for a certain category of Bullshit Jobs coming under the heading of Diversity-Equity-Inclusion. This essay describes what they do and how, and of course why "we" can live without them.
For those who follow Constitutional stuff, all of this stuff grew out of Supreme Court cases that tried to kill "Affirmative Action" because it was racially discriminatory. Colleges and other like-minded institutions eventually came to DEI as a way of discrimination on the basis of race without admitting that's what you are doing.
I personally wonder if this anti-movement (against DEI) will ever make it to advertising and scripted entertainment, where Black people and Wimmin get all the good roles, and there are more inter-racial families than intra.
If the private sector won't reward all those PolySci grads with six-figure incomes the government has to step in. After all they are their stepchildren having been coddled with Affirmative Action, student loans, and DEI status. Why does that number surprise you?
Do you realize how big the Federal Government is?
Over 2 million
The size of the IG is dependent on their workload
Middle class has very few tax writeoffs and must document them all. Pretty cut and dry.I mean back to where the returns that get audited are not from the middle-class guy just trying to survive and keep his family afloat. Which comes back to what I said. There are not so many truly wealthy people in the US that the IRS would need tens of thousands more staff to handle their returns. Let them focus on the wealthy and leave everybody else alone.Middle class has very few tax writeoffs and must document them all. Pretty cut and dry.
The wealthy have accountants and tax attorneys that say…we interpret the law this way.
It takes highly trained IRS agents to refute it
And they pay for themselves, with annual recovery of fraud.
Last I heard Musk and Ramaswamy are now in charge of that.Conservatives always ***** about government inefficiency and corruption.
Now you want to eliminate the agencies that investigate it
Which is it?
RidiculousWhich comes back to what I said. There are not so many truly wealthy people in the US that the IRS would need tens of thousands more staff to handle their returns. Let them focus on the wealthy and leave everybody else alone.
Neither is qualifiedLast I heard Musk and Ramaswamy are now in charge of that.
Ridiculous
Ultra wealthy taxpayers have an army of accountants and lawyers on their side.
IRS can’t handle them with just a clerk
Most audits are looking for arithmetic errors, not fraud. It doesn't take a genius to audit a tax form that only shows W-2 income.Which comes back to what I said.
