There is no money for this unless we change how we run schools, the Bureaucracy is so out of control it sucks the life out of the budget.

Schools are a breeding ground for bottle-fed edbots. Teachers are forced to spend class time preparing students for various national and state testing regimens. Those teachers receive little to no funding for classroom materials and have no choice but to spend their own funds in order to provide some semblence of an educational atmoshphere. In her 5 (count 'em, five) years of teaching my wife racked up nearly $10,000 in credit card debt in order to stock her classroom with adequate supplies in an effort to fulfill her obligation to those kids.

All the while, many parents don't give a goddamn about their childrens' classroom participation nor do they bother with the workings of the school's administrative policies.
