Correct...
Democrats are, indeed, to blame for their own losses in November 2016...
The reasons are legion, but a few of the more salient ones include...
- Dems stood by Illegal Aliens rather than their own fellow countrymen
- Dems overspent on welfare and welfare-like programming and taxpayers revolted
- Dems made a train wreck of foreign policy during the period 2009-2017
- Dems embarrassed America with their Apology Tours and self-deprecation
- Dems eagerly pushed NAFTA and TPP to the detriment of the American Worker
- Dems pushed the Gay Agenda to the point where perverts are allowed into little girls' bathrooms
- Dems routinely dissed and ignored White Straight Christian Middle America - delusional that minorities alone were enough
- Dems made it politically incorrect and impossible to criticize their positions without being verbally assaulted and faux-shamed in public
- Dems blind-sided Bernie Sanders during the Primaries; they stacked the deck, and were out'ed for it
- Dems fired their DNC chair on the very opening day of their Convention
- Dems overplayed the part of arrogant Ruling Elites and it finally had a visceral effect on Americans
- Dems obtained the endorsement of Organized Labor management but lost the rank-and-file
- Dems failed to communicate a coherent vision and game plan for the country
- Dems drew red lines in the sand with Syria and North Korea then failed to back them up with forceful action while there was still time
- Dems fielded corrupt, $hitty candidates - sooo $hitty, that we now have the Imperial Cheeto running things
Yes, indeed...
Democrats have only themselves to blame for their present state of affairs...
Lost the White House, the Supreme Court, the Senate, the House, and over 1,000 elected positions at lower levels throughout the country...
And, if they don't have such a Come-to-Jesus moment, and get their heads out of their asses, and kiss and make-up with White Straight Christian Middle America...
They are going to be sitting in the Cheap Bleacher Seats throwing peanut shells from the sidelines for a very, very long time...
The Big Question are...
1. are they sufficient intelligent, perceptive and pragmatic, to arrive at similar conclusions?
...and, if true (which seems unlikely)...
2. do they have the balls to reverse course on a number of fondly-held platform planks and re-engage after such a make-over?
