No, I calmly told to either shoot or put it away. It finally donned on his what was going on and he figured out what would happen if he didn't shoot or put it away. It shook him to his toes. He went into his bedroom and was too ill to come out. I left right then and never bother to care if he lived or died. His normal friends would react with fear and then laughter. NEVER point a gun at a Combat Vet and expect him to be afraid and show a cowardly reaction.

First off you should have never been there in the first place. If he's a known nutcase you ignore them and don't go to their house.

I didn't have a gun. I don't need to be packing a gun. It'll get me into more trouble than it's worth. What I did was to defuse the situation. BTW, later on, the SOB ran off with my wife. I still owe him a debt of gratitude.
