9th Circuit Court reverses Judge Breyer over control of National Guard

History is not on the Democrats side. Presidents have done this numerous times in the past. They cannot win, so they should just surrender.
The president has not done this without the permission of a governor. This is listed in the US Code, it is law.

As they should.
True. In fact, wherever Newsom and the lady mayor sent CHP or the PD, they took control and stopped the violence, arresting who they thought needed arresting. As protests go, these have not been anywhere near as destructive and other protests of other issues around the country. This is a perfect example of why control of the National Guard of that state, should not have been usurped by the President. Now you have Trump himself saying arresting and deporting hard farm workers, hotel workers, etc is a mistake.

Because everyone learned their lesson from the 2020 riots, with the exception of those two, and maybe the mayor of Seattle.

Trump is going to lose this. And Gerber baby food can just stop posting links unless it's the law. U.S. Code Title 10, Section 12406, is the law, not someone's faulty opinion about history found in a link. Trump even admitted he could not do it 4 years ago.

Again, good reason not to have any president taking over domestic control of National Guard from State Governors.

The same people who rioted in 2020 stormed the capital on 1-6. Now, if you keep calling this a riot because you've been shown the same pictures of that burning car over and over, you're an idiot. Furthermore, when the president breaks the law, the people should fight back. Finally when you support a motherfucking convicted felon, you can't say shit about anyone else breaking the law. You elected a criminal to uphold the law; therefore, there is no law.

You resort to false equivalence. Your argument is invalid.

So we let politically motivated governors and mayors control the National Guard? They had no intention of stopping the protests.

There is no reason to allow people to shut down a major highway. No reason to allow people to storm DHS and ICE facilities and put agents' lives in danger. If Bass and Newsom won't act, Trump will. The law backs him. When you're blocking major highways, the protests cease to be peaceful.

If you don't like the law, change it.

I watched as California Highway Patrol Officers, took charge and cleared them from interstate and the ramp, exactly as they should have, and they needed no Marines or active military to do it. You must own stock in Waymo. I don't.

It took them 48 hours to respond. It took Trump federalizing the National Guard to get them to act.

9th Circuit will hear it on the 17th. I don't see 9th Circuit or SCOTUS either one, handing domestic control of National Guard over to the whim of a President, to just decide whether a Governor is doing the job for his state. That would be the definition of a Military Police State, here in the US, something the framers of our constitution were totally against.

They were against an Invasion too

The first I saw of the unrest were those protesting, while ICE was leaving a raid with their prisoners in SUVs through protestors on the street and were so stupid, the put half dozen or less ICE officers on the street on foot to deal with 50-75 protestors. I will admit, anybody with military experience would know better. My son told me about pushing through crowds in an MRAP, in Afghanistan. He knew. You don't stop. You don't get out. You slowly push through. If you are ever surrounded by protestors, because you turned the wrong direction or were dumb enough to seek a look at the action, I suggest you remember and slowly push through. They won't actually crawl under your tires, and you sure as hell, don't want to get out and discuss the situation with them, vastly outnumbered. ICE was just a bunch of masked dumbasses in unmarked SUVs, not even knowing how to egress, after totally accomplish their mission.

Are you saying you agree that we are at war with Mexico’s people on our soil?
You describe war-like situations.

Kyle Rittenhouse was a 17 year old punk-ass kid with an AR-15 and the balls to use it…He ‘accomplished’ his mission all by himself.
