If the student was told to cease and desist, and the student refused, the crime of public disorder has occurred. The arrival of the police prevented the student assaulting the teacher and being beaten down as a result.
We know nothing of the dispute or the confrontation. For all we know, the teacher demanded that the boy remove his shirt and the boy declined. Now you may say that was a crime of "public disorder" but lets change the facts just a tad.. The boy and the teacher were alone in the classroom and the teacher demanded that the boy remove his shirt while the teacher was unzipping his pants.
Hmm changes everything quite a bit and I would want the teacher arrested.
But rather than jumping to conclusions, I will await further clarification and information.
