80's movies

no political correctness and it was fun for everyone. Its IMPOSSIBLE for producers to make a movie like any of those today. There is no longer a sense of adventure like you had in the 80s

Back To The Future and the Karate Kid are the best of the trilogies.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I believe that the final Back To The Future was filmed in 1989 even though it wasn't released until the summer of 1990.

Die Hard is the 80s movie I've watched the most, but the most 80s movie, I think is, To Live and Die in L.A.

I don't know how this rates maybe B-class sci-fi but I like it.

Probably the best time for movies in my life so far.
And the best made, fun movies as well.
How about you?

i saw the animated TransFormers: The Movie in the movie theater in the Summer of 1986 and it was the best movie experience I have had in my life. I have been hooked on Transformers since it first came on TV in 1984. I am a TransFan forever. :)

"The Shining" with Jack Nickelson 1980. Steven King was one of my Favorite Authors

The "Postman Always Rings Twice" With Jack Nickelson 1981. Loved the book as well.

I was gonna watch Youngblood (1986) last night, but we lost power here from the storms that came through. It's a B rated hockey flick, but an entertaining blast from the past.

I always really loved this move - Blood Simple 1985

Fatal Attraction - 1987

Sherlock Holmes -The Hound of Baskervilles - 1983

Actually my favorite movies were from the 60's and 70's, although I DID grow up in the 80's. The 80s just did not have a very strong impression on me. So much from that period I have simply forgotten because it was just cheesy, overproduced and boring.

But an 80's movie I like? Ok.
How about Firefox, with Clint Eastwood.
That's just the first one that came to mind. I'm sure I dig up a few more....

I always loved the film "The Believers" - 1987 I loved all the Voodoo in the film :)
