No one person was saving those stores not Trump not anyone. I am not so sure it is progress though. Some day we might miss getting our fingers on some of our products before paying for them though. I am not very sure that the quickly diminishing reasons to leave the house is a good thing either!

Sears, JC Penny, etc, charged way to much for their products just b/c you were buying it from them.
walmart, Target, etc, charge way less and put those stores on the edge.
with Amazon, ebay, etc, you can shop the world for the best price or value and have it delivered

that put the over priced shops in the dust bin of history.

There will still be many local stores for you to shop in.

Toys R Us announced yesterday they are closing around 200 stores after the holidays.
Sears announced they are going to start having Amazon to ship their appliances, car batteries and battery accessory items. Sears and Target are closing around 46 stores. The internet is the big reason stores are closing and the Snowflakes are blaming Trump when they should be blaming Bill Gates.
