Seems this had been shunted aside Their stories seldom heard anymore. Doubt the current generation knows much about them at all, sacrifices made both in battle and on the Homefront. Meanwhile darkness creeps its way back on stage.

I was watching a great movie D-Day with the late John Wayne. I love that movie. As well, as The Longest Day.
 
I think I fought on the beaches of Normandy in a video game once.

What a difference between the Greatest Generation and today's generations as exemplified by the know-nothing nonsense of the current insurrection.
 
Stuart tank commander came in from Utah Beach and helped the paratroopers push back the battle lines....Ran out of ammo and was on his way back to Utah when hit by a panzerfaust.
