There is not a single product today that is "Made in the USA" in the sense that it is entirely sourced from US components. Every manufacturer depends on foreign parts or supplies. The tariffs have raised costs to those manufacturers, many of whom in turn export, causing them to raise prices.
We haven't seen inflation, yet, because tariffs do not raise inflation. Changes in the money supply raise inflation. But if someone has to spend more on one product, he will spend less on another product. And we are seeing just that, with travel revenue coming down, probably other areas as well.

There could be a drop in purchases but also possible inflation. Neither is good.
