75 billion dollars, to the USA, in tariff revenue so far in 2025

Kinda like the increases in corporate taxes you loons champion, they get passed onto the consumer.

Tariffs are mostly used to protect domestic products from foreign competition, why is that a bad thing ? I'm sure your answer will end up being "because Trump".
That is a good thing. But the US manufacturer pays higher wages so they will have to charge more. The consumer pays more.
There is good and bad.

75 billion dollars, to the USA, in tariff revenue so far in 2025.
That is 87% more than the the same time period in 2024.
Do you know who pays the vast majority of the Tariffs.
US BUSINESSES PAY THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE TARIFFS.
Do you know what the US businesses do after paying the tariff.
Two things
1. absorb the tariff. That reduces their profit.
2. PASS IT ON TO THE US CONSUMERS
Usually a little of each.

Is having increased tariff revenue by the USA a good thing?

Bull. You know squat about Business. Who Pays when China Tafiffs US?

Maybe the flock is still being told that other countries are paying it.

It’s not like they would question it.
Maybe you just don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you are just an ignorant leftist Democrat. Yes I think that's it!

Is having our taxes raised, while billionaires get a cut, a good thing?

That's not winning. We pay more for things we buy now. But you don't have to worry but that because you don't live in America

The european union is asking for an audience with the president over tariffs they're ready for a new deal

Inflation was going down during Biden. It was 2.4 percent on election day. Do not start giving trump credit for an economy he inherited again.
it was 1.6% when Tater took office, Simp.

Your take on this has been right in every post. But I'll point out that manufacturers themselves are opposed to the tariffs. There is not a single product today that is "Made in the USA" in the sense that it is entirely sourced from US components. Every manufacturer depends on foreign parts or supplies. The tariffs have raised costs to those manufacturers, many of whom in turn export, causing them to raise prices.
We haven't seen inflation, yet, because tariffs do not raise inflation. Changes in the money supply raise inflation. But if someone has to spend more on one product, he will spend less on another product. And we are seeing just that, with travel revenue coming down, probably other areas as well.

The same thing that Democrats claimed didn’t happen when taxes were going to be raised. Interesting how when it’s one party’s idea it is great and when it’s the other party’s idea it is bad.

Partisan bias is just amazingly stupid.

Why weren’t Democrats bitching about Biden not ending the Trump tariffs in 2021-2023? Why didn’t the left ***** about Biden raising tariffs in 2024?

Just stupid BS, we all need to grow up.

The two parties share virtually the same views and values. Trump is not a Republican but a 70s Democrat. THey agree on tariffs to protect US industry, and especially US workers. They agree on immigration restriction to protect US workers. They agree on a weakened US in foreign affairs. They agree on using big government programs with big budgets to solve every problem. But it's a partisan game where it's OK when my team does it but bad when they do. Thats why you see so many posts supporting Trump by claiming Biden did the same thing. Hello? If you didnt like it when Biden did it, why is it OK when Trump does it?

The difference is the chaos. No one protests when tariffs make sense. Imposing across the board tariffs then retreating, doesn’t inspire confidence.
