75 billion dollars, to the USA, in tariff revenue so far in 2025.
That is 87% more than the the same time period in 2024.
Do you know who pays the vast majority of the Tariffs.
US BUSINESSES PAY THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE TARIFFS.
Do you know what the US businesses do after paying the tariff.
Two things
1. absorb the tariff. That reduces their profit.
2. PASS IT ON TO THE US CONSUMERS
Usually a little of each.

Is having increased tariff revenue by the USA a good thing?

For years Democrats have begged for higher taxes…if that’s what tariffs are then why all the resistance?

It is just a model that your link is referring to.

I've found a good read for you.
Just another business model
The latest measure of government receipts for "Customs and Certain Excise Taxes" stood at more than $26.7 billion for the month of June, according to the Treasury Department’s latest daily statement dated June 24.
June’s total so far has already topped May’s total haul of about $22 billion — not to mention April and March totals of $17.4 billion and $9.6 billion, respectively.
All told, more than $121 billion has flowed into government coffers since the start of this fiscal year.
une’s revenue totals mark the first month where tariff rates have largely remained unchanged after months of up-and-down duties early in Trump's second term. In April, as an example, Trump’s 10% duties on nearly every country in the world began on the 5th of that month.

The new data also comes after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected earlier this month that Trump's tariffs could reduce primary deficits by $2.8 trillion over the coming decade — but with a significant assumption that current duties stay constant and in place even after Trump is scheduled to leave office.

Below is your undocumented comment, I guess.
If the businesses pass it on to the consumer, there would be inflation, where it hasn't materialized
in fact, it has come down. Businesses are still making nice profits from what I've seem with earning reports.

Inflation was going down during Biden. It was 2.4 percent on election day. Do not start giving trump credit for an economy he inherited again.
But inflation is not going up. It is coming down. The claim was that Americans would be paying for the tariffs. If they are then it has not caused inflation to go up.

We will not see the true effect of the tariffs until the fourth quater.
Businesses are working with inventories purchased before tariffs.
Some are absorbing tariffs temporarily until they see what competetion will do. They are not able to do this long term.
Our business has exposure to many of these companies.

Maybe the flock is still being told that other countries are paying it.

It’s not like they would question it.
Trump gives the impression we are getting the funds from the foreign countries.
As usuall, MAGA goes with it.

Well, it's a wait and see, and both of us are using models, which can be unreliable.

Again, do not give trump credit for an economy he inherited, and since the effects of these tariffs have not hit yet, you would be wise to be quiet.

/——/ 30 billion a month going to reduce the debt. What’s wrong with that?

Then we count up the Progressive Socialist Inflation. It did nothing for the citizens except cause pain. The Prog Socialist traitors with autopens and the insane Prog controlled congress got us near nothing for trillions and trillions of dollars of printed fiat currency. Trump is attempting to get manufacturing here with those tariffs. And he is having some success with commitments. Yeah, the inflation. We all loved it. That shit screwed with a lot of people.
