In terms of the counting of the votes and certification of the votes, yes, but in terms of the voter suppression, gerrymandering, and and refusal to register eligible voters, there were a lot of shennanigans. Republicans lost the popular vote in the House, the White House and the Senate, but retained control in all three. That's hardly my definition of a "totally fair election".

Since losing the the White House, the House and the Senate, Republicans haven't look at ways of broadening their base, developing a platform to appeal to all voters, and working for their constituents. Instead they're introduced more than 100 bills in the State legislatures to deal with "voter fraud" and "election security" - neither of which were a problem in this election, and all of which make it more difficult to register to vote, and more difficult to exercise the right to vote either in person, or by mail.

I know of no other democracy in the world which tries to make voting more and more difficult for the electorate. Other countries are looking for ways to get MORE people out to vote, not to deny the vote to citizens who are asking to exercise their constitutional right to vote.

Democrats don't have to cheat, gerrymander, close polling places, or bar citizens from voting to win elections. They just have to keep doing a good job of running the country.
