Climate change: a growing skepticism

In a period marked by heavy inflation, economic concerns have been growing whereas environmental concerns have been stagnating on a global level

"The increase in the cost of living is the main subject of concern on an international level (62%) with further strong growth this year (+10 pts since 2021, +15 pts since 2020). Poverty and inequality also remain at the top of the list (46%), followed by health issues (42%).

While worry over inflation predominates in all continents, priorities tend to diverge after that: health is a mobilizing factor in Europe and North America, whereas South Americans fear crime and delinquency more than anywhere else; Asia is still mobilized by the Coronavirus (2nd priority); unemployment continues to be a source of worry in Africa and South America, whereas it is no longer a concern in Europe and North America.

Ranking 4th, the environment is still a key concern, at a stable level compared to 2021 (40%, -1 pt). It features among the top five concerns of inhabitants in almost all continents, with the exception of countries in Africa and the Middle East.

The environment is still a priority for the upper categories: while it ranks 2nd (44%) among the most affluent households, just after the increase in the cost of living, it ranks only 6th among lower-income households (36%), behind poverty and inequality (49%), unemployment (44%), the health system (41%) but also corruption. .. "

One thing crystal clear....

Climate skepticism climbing...significantly.
Why? Because many now keen on tracking down "misinformation"... :eusa_dance:
Same reason nobody getting the stabs anymore....yuk...yuk.

The internet always wins...the # of rubes...dwindling.

Btw...some bozo moderator took down the most massive thread of information a few weeks ago ( coerced by Crick btw)....routinely documented voters disinterest in climate change as a top concern.:boobies::boobies:

But don't take my word for it...check any poll since 2010. Any poll....but don't forget...you'll have to scroll waaaaay down the list to find it.:coffee:

Like John Kerry once said, it matters little what people think and who they elect.

The Climate Agenda is now unstoppable.

For the moment...

The FAFO Doctrine always wins...undefeated btw. When the 15 Min Cities becomes real, the shitshow commences. Will be ePiC...one side will be lOsiNg biGlY. :eusa_dance: :eusa_dance:

That has to be a Dominion poll. I literally don't know anyone that thinks it's anything but a money laundering ponzi scheme. They've been caught multiple times manipulating the data and they can't even figure out whether it's warming or cooling.

I know we live with some dumb mother fuckers, but I don't think it's anywhere near 50%.

The denialists are keeping climate change in the news now, and it's because they are beginning to doubt their denial.

As with the pro-gun side, they are coming to realize that the consequences are coming too close to where they live.

Times and attitudes of Americans are starting to change slowly now and it's almost down to the most extremist like marvin and backagain who continue to deny that America is crumbling in the face of China's huge success of building up the Brics to become the unchallenged world economic power.

Denial of climate change has become one of the foremost examples of America being sidelined.

Zero Hedge (or ZeroHedge) is a far-right[13] libertarian[18] financial blog and news aggregator.[14][15][19] Zero Hedge, per its motto,[a] is bearish in its investment outlook and analysis, often deriving from its adherence to the Austrian School of economics and credit cycles.[23] While often labeled as a financial permabear,[24][25] Zero Hedge has also been described as a source of "cutting-edge news, rumors and gossip in the financial industry".[26]

Over time, Zero Hedge expanded into non-financial political content,[c] including Conspiracy Theories and Fringe rhetoric[3][28] advancing Radical right,[15][29] Alt-right,[30][31][32] and pro-Russia positions.[1][33][34][35] Zero Hedge's non-financial commentary has led to multiple site bans by global social media platforms, although its 2019 Facebook ban[36][37] and 2020 Twitter ban were later reversed.[15][38]

Zero Hedge in-house content is posted under the pseudonym "Tyler Durden"; the founder and main editor was identified as Daniel Ivandjiiski.[27]

50% of the country is scientifically illiterate.

Just like you are. Here's your sign -----------> STOOPID
Gently mcRib! The denialists won't suddenly switch sides to be with the popular majority, but they will come over as the denialism becomes the fringe.

It's already happened with a few on this forum but it wouldn't be safe to mention names.

Denial is fading more quickly now, even though it's only evident to a small degree on this forum.

If anything, this forum has now become a refuge for the remaining denialists.

Real statistics have revealed that at least 65% of Americans now accept AGW.

And that's America!!

I figure it's really 87%. ;)
Far too low .
More than 50% of the original sample are clueless and gullible and only count in La La Land .
Ergo ---- of those with functioning brains who are not gullible , 100% find the Climate Change narrative risible .
