Five people shot dead in Pennsylvania as 'military veteran gunman barricades himself in a home'

Five people have been shot dead in Pennsylvania on Monday with the gunman still at large.
The shootings took place at three separate locations in Montgomery County in the early hours.
The suspect, who is believed to be a military veteran, is now barricaded in a home in Souderton, according to reports. Police have set up a perimeter around the location and a SWAT team is in place.

SWAT team members were reportedly going door to door to locate the gunman after arriving in a military personnel carrier.
Snipers were taking position in back yards, according to Fox, and several streets were blocked off the public on Monday morning.
The first shooting was reported just before 4am, according to ABC, in Lower Salford. Officers who responded to the scene found a woman's body.
Some 30 minutes later, officers found two more victims shot dead in Lansdale from gunshot wounds.
Two bodies were also found at what is believed to be a residential property in Souderton.
