millennials don't know what 45s and B sides are
This millennial does! :) My taste in music is eclectic. I like it all--from classical, swing, outlaw country, Latino brass, rock, R&B, jazz, folk, bluegrass, funk. . . .

"You Can't Always Get What You Want" was a huge B-side hit.

I know music from my grandfather and father's collections.

All of my music is on mp3 files nowadays
MP3s have a lot of advantages
I have over 50k songs
I could never have 50k songs on vinyl or CDs
You can easily make different play lists with mp3s
You can put them on portable players and play them in your car

While MP3 is not the best format for audiophiles, the introduction of buying single songs did eliminate having to buy an entire album of crap to get the one good song.
