The poll of 500 San Franciscans, commissioned by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, showed that just over 40% of residents plan to move out of the city in the next few years.

Additionally, 8 out of 10 people polled said crime has increased in the city, and almost 90% of those polled said they believe that the homeless crisis has gotten worse. Roughly three-quarters of residents in San Francisco said their quality of life has declined over the past year.

Police statistics show certain crimes have been increasing in California’s fourth-largest city, including a significant surge in car burglaries, which are up as much as 700% in some areas.

San Francisco’s police chief has pointed the finger at two factors: not enough police on the streets and criminals being let out of jail due to relaxed prosecuting.

Yes, the City and County of San Francisco has problems, but no worse and in many cases much better than other cities and towns across America. Building codes protect homes and our sky scrappers from earthquakes; cities and town in the South and Middle States suffer hurricanes and tornadoes annually with limited or no codes to protect people and property. We in the Bay Area don't suffer from freezing temperatures or excessive heat, flooding is rare and snow fall is a very rare event, and the snow lasts only a few hours.

911 calls get a response in minutes, and hospitals, colleges and universities, museums, parks, beaches, zoos, restaurants and public transportation connects all nine Bay Area Counties; we have the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and Play Houses, movie theaters and in door and outdoor concerts. In my 20's I once spent the morning surfing at Ocean Beach, and at noon drove to Soda Springs (a three hours drive) to enjoy down hill skiing under the lights.

Thanks to the lefts ravage attack on our police officers and the movement to de-fund them, police departments across the country are experiencing a huge disinterest in people choosing police work as a profession, including where I live. When you add in all the good police officers that already quit or took an early retirement at record levels for many lib cities, look for crime to increase even more in places like SF.

This is why I've been saying for the past few years we need to divide this country and have two countries instead. On your side of the wall, put in all the destructive policies you want. Bring in all the third-worlders you want. Disarm every citizen you want. Don't lock up any criminals if you want. I had a Zoom meeting last week with our police chief. It was for everybody in our city, but I'm the only one that showed up due to a double fatal car accident that he had to be at forcing him to reschedule last minute.. He told me that when he applied to be a police officer here back in 1990, he was up against 700 other applicants. Today he said, they're lucky to get 25, and only about 17 of those pass the written exam. He told me it's not just us, but this is a national problem. After our meeting ended, I looked it up, and he was absolutely correct.

How did this all happen? The Democrats and their anti-police crusade. Oh, and they're not done yet either. They want to remove qualified immunity to boot so police officers can be sued every time somebody fights with them and gets injured, or the family can sue a police officer for the death of their loved one even though it was ruled a justified killing. Who wants to work in that environment? I sure as hell wouldn't, and neither would most people.

I don't care if commie cities and states want to make their places shit holes like SF, but liberalism is like a cancer, It spreads to everybody like the police shortage situation.
