this kid is the latest...Mother Jones tried to say that mass shooters don't choose targets based on their "Gun Free Zone" status...since most of the killers have a connection with their target...they went to the school or they worked at the business they decided to shoot up...
However....as lefties...Mother Jones lied....for one thing, the killers didn't have to think about the gun free zone status of their targets because those targets, especially schools were already gun free zones because of the law....so that didn't even need to be a decision they had to weigh...
However...there are also nuts who select their targets not based on a prior, personal connection...there are 4 who fit this description...and all 4 wanted gun free zones as their targets so they could kill without pesky gun owners or police stopping them...
How do we know...they told us...through confessions or videos, or manifestos or behavior...
1) Colorado theater killer....could have chosen several theaters showing the same movie at the same time that were closer to where he lived....he went to a theater with a "no guns allowed" policy....the theaters closest to him allowed concealed carry....
2) the Santa Barbara killer chose his target specifically because there would be no guns around....we know this because on his facebook videos he said he wouldn't go to one potential target because there would be police there...you know...guys with guns....
3) in Wisconsin...a kid was arrested at his storage locker because the police had knowledge he was planning a school shooting....he had a connection to the school...however...he planned on making it a gun free zone by killing the police liaison officer first, because he knew no one else had a gun....and he could kill for several minutes before new guys with guns appeared at the scene...
And now....
4) Would-be Md. school shooter planned to kill parents cops - NY Daily News
