I have worked elections. I personally know a couple dozen folks who have worked the election days.
Those who do not recognize the earnestness and sense of responsibility of the workers there....well, they either never voted so as to see that focus; or they are so blinded by partisanship that they will ONLY see what they WANT to see.

1,300 people!....of both parties, and of no party.....worked together. And reviewed each other's work. Ballots from Michigan's 4,800+ precincts, spread across 83 counties as much as 650+ miles apart!

And poster Claudette is implying that those 1,300 Republicans and Democrats and others conspired to cheat Don Trump and throw the election to Joe Biden?

In my view, utilizing/consulting with the 1,300 township & county clerks who are trained and experienced in Michigan voting protocols and mechanics makes a lot of sense....common or otherwise.

If poster Claudette is suggesting the state of Michigan bring in 1,300 experienced & trained clerks from, say, Missouri.....well, she should so advise.

Or, if poster Claudette is suggesting the state bring in 1,300 untrained, inexperienced clerk-substitutes from the universities, the unemployment line, or Manpower.....well, she should so advise.

Look, here's real-world pragmatics: Utilize the experienced staff in place and employ a system of cross-referencing, verifications, and double-checks to vet the vote.
With some logistical steps the clerks from County X can vet the vote from County Y....an so on and so on for all of Michigan's 80+ counties, and 4,000+ precincts. And all overseen by the bi-partisan Election infrastructure of the State.
Which, per the Free Press published piece.....is what the state did.

It is foolish to believe that ALL the clerks were crooked and can't be trusted. It is foolish and is only a conspiracists' fantasm.

Otherwise ---and I mean no disrespect---- but otherwise the poster Claudette's advice to not allow the current clerks, trained & experienced in Michigan procedures, to be involved in any audit is.......well, it is naïve. And if not ill-informed, then mis-informed.
