4 Gun Bills Voted Down - Democrats Voted Down 2 of Them

4 pieces of gun legislation were brought to a vote.

All 4 were defeated.

Democrats provided the votes to defeat 2 of them.

1, submitted by a Republican and backed by the NRA, was voted down - Democrats were responsible for defeating that one. Their justification was that 'It did not go far enough'.

Republicans, and some Democrats, opposed Democratic party Bills because they violated Americans' Due Process Rights.

These votes were 'forced' primarily by Democrats in the wake of the Orlando terrorist attack, never wanting a disaster to go to waste and wanting to take advantage of the emotional atmosphere that followed.

These votes, the actions of these Democrats had absolutely NOTHING to do with the victims or the violence in Orlando. The Democrats don't give a damn about dead bodies - if they did they would be outraged and jumping up and down about Chicago. They want NOTHING to do with Chicago, a Liberal-run city with the nation's strictest gun laws that is on pace to set a new record for gun violence / death!

These votes weren't even about getting any of the legislation passed. This was all about 'politics' and 'political theater'. They scored a 'victory' because they actually got the GOP to bring up a vote on their anti-gun agenda. They also scored a 'victory' because they have politicians' votes on record to be used in the up-coming election. That's all this was about to them.

Forget the fact that Democrats were the ones to kill 2 of these 4 bills - Liberals and the media will portray the GOP as the 'gun-huggers' who voted to protect the NRA and guns rather than human lives. No mention of their attempt to strip Americans of their RIGHT to Due Process- that won't be mentioned, either.

Voting on these 4 bills was just another demonstration of Washington Establishment Career Politician 'Political Theater' where liberals were more concerned with killing GOP careers than the Americans killed by a terrorist in Orlando....or the record-setting murder rate in Chicago.

True -- "gun control" laws are just throwing legislation at the symptom and ignoring the disease. It makes politicians look like they're maybe sort of doing something, but completely misses the point.
