25% of American Jewish Voters think Israel is an Apartheid State

Abortion and gay marriage were pariahs too before the courts stepped in and overturned the will of the people

Actually, they weren't.

Abortion laws were routinely being disregarded by women and their doctors before Roe. The problem with the abortion laws is that they were not being enforced. The courts really didn't think that they were doing anything more controversial than when they overturned the laws against contraception in Griswold v. Connecticut. These things were on the books, but nobody was following them.

Kind of like prostitution laws now. Yup, prostitution is illegal, but there are a bunch of strip joints, massage parlors, escort services, etc. where you can exchange sex for money.

As for Gay marriage, the problem there is that we've already established marriage as a right.

Abortion wasn't illegal in the US until the 1850s.

There really is no popular movement to roll back the age of consent.
The hedonist left does not need a popular movement

they just need 5 unelected demigods on the Supreme Court

or they need to pack the court to overcome conservatives that still linger there

Thats an obvious slight of hand trick

libs could not pass laws legalizing abortion so they turn to unelected judges to do it for thrm

So?

it was illegal by popular opinion after that up until Row v Wade

Women have always gotten abortions. Poor women went to back alley abortionists. Wealthy women went to their doctors or they went abroad. Hypocrisy isn't a good look.

And the Arab squatters under the Ottoman Empire were squatters.

Don't be silly. The Akkadians immigrated from the Arabian Peninsula .. Even Abraham and Moses had Arab wives.

Sargon lived 2334–2279 BC..

Arabs have been in Palestine and Levant since 2500 BC.

And if they had owned land under the Ottoman Empire they'd have to pay taxes.
So they rented. And if the rent was too high, they started squatting.
If you're renting an apartment and the owner dies, do you magically become the owner?
Or does that only work if you're an Arab in Palestine?

At the beginning of his seven visits, the wealthy British Jew, Sir Moses Montefiore, traveled to Palestine in 1827, in order to explore its locations and to know the conditions of his people; to surprise him their reality, the presence of about 500 Jews in a terrible state of poverty and decline, distributed between Tel al-Qadi north and well The seven south, which angered and grieved Sir, pushed him to the upper door of the Ottoman Empire, asking for permission to build a number of shelters to accommodate these ground Jews.

It was not much until Montefiore acquired the first Jewish land in Palestine. "As a result of the British intervention with the Ottoman authorities, Sultan Farmana was issued in 1849 allowing the Jews to buy land in the Holy Land." [1] Jewish land on land outside the wall of the Old City of Jerusalem, which was soon recognized officially by the Ottoman authorities with the issuance of the law of expropriation of foreigners in 1869; to put the nucleus of the first Jewish neighborhood in Palestine [2].

I was told that the Golan Heights is as essential defensive position for the State of Israel. They would be sitting ducks for different attacks from hostile forces in Syria without it.

Martin Van Cleveld is Israel's foremost military historian.. He said neither the Golan nor Samaria are essential to Israel's defense in the 20th century. Taking that land is an excuse.

Did the Palestinians sell their land to the Jews in the 1940s?

Did the Palestinians own any land in the 1940s?

Actually, no, the Supreme Court never does anything against popular opinion. It's why they haven't overturned Roe, despite never having a Democratic Majority. Some Republican appointees always discover that Roe is good law.

Nobody wants to legalize pedophilia. We can't even get some common sense on age of consent laws.

Actually, abortion was legal in 13 states when Roe was ruled on.

It certainly was illegal until the supreme court said otherwise in Roe v Wade

Quite the contrary, the laws were never enforce. Women were never arrested for having abortions, and providers weren't prosecuted for performing them UNLESS they screwed up and injured someone.

Except it really wasn't.

You see, when Roe passed, initially most people didn't care. Abortion was seen as a Catholic Issue.

Then the Evangelicals made it a major issue because segregation wasn't playing well by the 1970's. They needed a new hobby horse to keep asses in pews.

Abortion was not a major issue till unelected judges overruled the will of the people and legalized it
