2.5 % SS increase has nothing to do with the inflation of the year - which was the worst in my lifetime (78 years) by far.

If it was related to the year's inflation, the Social Security increase would match the inflation (100-200%)

The republicans will steal your SS. How long have we heard this outright lie? Jimmy Carter started giving it away to immigrants never putting a dime into it. A democrat congress voted to 'borrow it'. A democrat congress voted to start taxing it. Obama used it to build an upper middle-class housing community, again for immigrants. It just more proof of the blinded stupidity of the democrat voter.
