Only two QB's remain on the teams who drafted them:

What a bunch of scrubs. This years draft could very well be one of the best ever for QB's, only two years from one of the worst ever.

The New England Patriots released quarterback Bailey Zappe ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline for NFL teams to trim their rosters to 53, a league source told The Athletic.

Zappe’s release means now only two of the nine quarterbacks taken in the 2022 NFL Draft remain with the team that selected them — San Francisco 49ers starter Brock Purdy, who was the last pick of that draft, and Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson, also a seventh-round pick.

They knew going in it was a weak year for QBs

saints must have cut rattler, but that is a "quarterback name"

The JaMarcus Russell / Brady Quinn year was just as bad, if not worse.

2021 NFL Draft

1. Trevor Lawrence
2. Zach Wilson
3. Trey Lance
11. Justin Fields
15. Mac Jones

Teams invest high first rounders
Only Lawrence was any good

well maybe. Lawrence had first rate program to go to
Zach Wilson went to junk Seams to be doing better in Denver
Trey lance looked pretty good last week he about has to
I don't think jones really want prescott that bad

I'm bias on this years players both with Utah connections
Jackson Dart
Cameron Rising

Getting Pederson and dumping Meyer has helped Lawrence. No more circus and Lawrence has climbed up the QB ranking. Maybe not quite at the elite level yet, but he has a chance to get there. Jacksonville could be a sleeper in the AFC. I agree Rising has a chance to be a high first round pick depending on how he comes back from injury. Utah has a chance in the Big 12.
