To start with, whoever the Democratic Candidate is, they will not be as flawed as Hillary Clinton was. Trump did not "win" because he gained any new votes... He got LESS of a percentage than the Mormon did four years earlier. He won because so many people pissed away their votes on third party candidates. They won't make that mistake again.

Second, Impeachment will have an effect on Trump, especially if the Republicans just sweep it under the rug.

Third, the economy is already slowing down. (recession has already hit other parts of the world, only a matter of time before it gets here.)

There was this great line in the Series "I, Claudius", where Claudius remarks that Caligula is "Sick in the Head". His mother Antonia remarks, "No, Rome is sick, sick in her heart. Caligula is just the rash it's broken out into."

Trump is just the rash America has broken out into. A decent country would agree, Trump is mentally unbalanced, he clearly broke laws, and he needs to go.

When America was healthier, this is exactly what they did to Nixon. Not that there weren't massive political divisions... those were worse than they are now, with Vietnam and Domestic Terrorism and Race Riots. But everyone could agree, Nixon's paranoia and corruption made him unfit for office.

Today. We have Republicans who know Trump is unfit for office, but then would have to admit they made a horrible mistake letting him become president to start with. What really concerns me is that I think the ugliness is metastasizing. It's obviously happening in our culture and everyday life (from sports to freakin' restaurants), but anecdotally I'm seeing it more and more just as I talk to people. This angry, rabid way they'll just launch into what seems like a pre-planned diatribe. I started noticing that two or three years ago and it only seems to be getting worse.

6. Promote Globalism, whatever Wall Street wants Wall Street gets, see K-Street Cash
7. Paris Climate Change Treaty where the US pays $trillions to poor countries
8. Stupid trade agreements, e.g tax breaks to move factories overseas
9. Let China run roughshod over the US for trade and intellectual property theft
10. Let NK develop nukes and ICBM delivery systems, have no one capable of dealing with NK
11. Raise taxes to 70% on the wealthy, especially on corporations so they relocate overseas
12. Opioid problem running rampant across the US
13. Gangs like MS-13 running rampant across the US
14. No steel or mining industries due to foreign "dumping" of subsidized products
15. No new pipelines
16. No offshore drilling
17. The dems' "Central Committee" appoints super-delegates to subvert real voters in primaries

28. REPARATIONS to blacks to pay for slavery, $trillions owed by US voters
29. Excuse the murder of unwanted newborns, i.e. "infanticide"
30. Change the Electoral College to popular vote

33. Increase domestic surveillance, especially on "white supremacist" organizations

I won't list Trump's "promises kept" you can google them if you like, but Trump will have way more voters in 2020 than he had in 2016. The Never-Trumpers will hold their nose and vote for Trump to preclude a socialist victory.

3. The economy just got rocket fuel, a phase-1 deal with China and the Fed holding rates steady for the foreseeable future. If in 2020 the US and China can get a phase-2 deal Trump will be unbeatable. The democrats simply can't beat Trump if he can keep the peace and prosperity going.

4. New topic, the Barr-Durham indictments coming out in 2020. Some big names from the Obama admin are going to prison for the biggest scandal in US history, the illegal democrat "break-in" to the Trump campaign using all of the "crimes" found by Horowitz, as well as misusing foreign intel assets.
