Supposed to hit a balmy 20 degrees in late afternoon. Amazing how warm that will feel after this latest cold snap.

six degrees F here in suburban Pittsburgh. The current Winter season is unusually harsh compared to recent years. We may go three weeks without a moment of 40 degrees or better.
This is what it was like when I was in high school in the 60's. There would be snow on the ground from mid-November until mid-March.
