Two UK newspapers, the Didcot Herald and Oxford Mail, misreported that a 13-year-old who died by suicide had a “previously well-known mental health history.”

Both outlets corrected after the boy’s mother complained to the UK press regulator the Independent Press Standards Organisation.

The boy’s mother, Sue Storey, flagged the Oxford Mail’s March 2019 article and the Didcot Herald’s March 2019 story on her son’s death. Both stories reported on the investigation into her son’s death and said in the headline the method of suicide.

At least she was able to fight back and got an apology on the first page.

..the MSM just cares about making $$$$$$

Both papers were owned by the same company. The published article was probably the same in both papers.
