1917 cold snap

Winter 1917 started in the 20's and the temperature continued to drop for weeks. It was the coldest New Years Eve in NYC in history -1 degree. Anybody see a similar trend exactly 100 years later? The Weather channel is predicting a high of 11 south of the Mason Dixon line by Friday. While the crazy left is blaming cars and republicans for global warming it's really the Sun, stupid.

Um, no. The long range forecast is for above average temps starting Sunday.

I understand how such a strenuous research effort as "checking the long range weather forecast" was beyond you, being you're a conservative. You had a talking point, and you had no interest in seeing if it was supported by the real world.

And not being liars and morons, we liberals won't declare that those above average temps mean global warming is true. We leave such "weather is climate!" stupidity to conservative cultists. We may, however, use them to point out what stinking hypocrites you are.

The temperature was in the 20's, dope.

So, it was -54 in Seneca, Oregon, in 1934. So there are occasional cold snaps in North America. That does not change the fact of the overall warming we are experiancing.
