I think you need to review your history. Initially the power of the Federal Reserve system was predominantly in the regional banks who had locally elected boards. The Board of Governors had very little power. This resulted in the bad performance of the Fed 1928--1934.

It's you who needs to review your history...The "regional" Fed banks were and are mere window dressing.

To Sallow: It was about sovereignty. It’s called The War For Independence. Rights only came after independence. A century or so later Socialists/Progressives laid the foundation for today’s liberalism. Notice that they are trying to abolish sovereignty at the same time they're taking Rights away.

Frank, if you decide to set your kids on fire because you don't like the government enforcing the law, nobody can stop you. However, don't blame it on the government. You would then simply be apprehended, dead or alive, as a muder suspect, who is armed and dangerous.

Your analogy fails...completely. The Davidians did not set their children on fire, the government did. As such, I fixed your post for you...

Frank, if you decide to abuse your kids because you don't like the government enforcing the law, the law can stop you. However, should the government murder your children to save them from your abuse, the government is out of control and ENTIRELY AT FAULT.

To think that burning the children alive, to save them from abuse, is rational indicates you are incompetent and ignorant.
