15 year old uses AR-15 to protect himself and sister from home invader...

Wow, what a combination...a 15 year old boy who uses a gun to possibly save a 2 lives, and stop a violent crime...and the gun is an...gasp...AR-15...

I know this is an older story...but with the anti gunners about to turn on the anti gun push over this latest shooting, a little perspective is in order...not all kids are murderous monsters...and a lot of kids use guns responsibly...

It is not the gun, but the user that makes it good or evil...

Son Uses Dad 8217 s AR-15 To Defend Home 2010

From 2010: A 15 year old TX boy and his 12 year old sister are home alone when two burglars try to break into their home.

That’s when the boy used quick thinking and used his dad’s AR-15 to defend his home, and 12 year old sister from 2 home invaders who had broken into his home.

One suspect was hit multiple times. The boy and his sister were not harmed.

It should be pointed out that due to the ease of use, good accuracy and light recoil of the AR15 platform that even a 15 year old boy was able to successfully wield it with precision and great accuracy even during a period of what could only be an enormous amount of stress.

Maybe it would have been better if the kids had been defenseless...I mean...if they had been brutalized or killed...at least they wouldn't have used a gun to stop it...
