Instead of all the useless investigations over these last 15 years congress should have been looking how other countries manage healthcare. With AI beginning to take over good paying jobs that offered health insurance, it's likely to become an even bigger issue.

Turns out most Americans didn't think insurers should be able to punish people for getting sick. Which is why the GOP's plans to let them do that again has been an uphill slog for the past decade.

Those that do not understand how the world works, yes. The problem is that insurance companies are interested in making money not charity. So of course they have to get more from those that are in poor health. Why? Because those in poor health actually require more money in treatments. Funny how that works right?

But yes, enhancing the subsidies is the reason premiums didn't grow, as it turns out that pulling in more shoppers, improving the risk profile of the pool, and drawing in more competing insurers is pretty effective at holding down premium growth.

In case you can not read or understand healthcare has increased year after year. In fact you may notice a big swing during the time that ACA became such a great idea.

I am an independent and never have expected the government to baby sit me. Never have expected them to give me something I could earn on my own. But it seems most democrats want government to be their nurse maid from cradle to grave
