Toxic Islam? Yes, we know how devastating it can be. Evidence is everywhere.
So how do you think Toxic Islam should be neutrally studied and immunity fostered?
Come on Aris. You really should take the ideas with a little more introspection.
Toxic memes is the point. Christianity (with the majority holding in Zionism) is at least as toxic as Islam. Islam is described as being repelled by the memes that the west spread, but they could as easily say extermist Judaism is repelled by the memes of western thought.
Just look at the nonsense about sitting next to a woman on an airplane. Or the idea that women shouldn't be allowed to pray at the wailing wall.
Islam can be violent, but hell, so can Christianity and Judaism.
Be best to ban all these creepy cults if you ask me. However, that would still leave people wanting to kill and die for "their country". That, of course is becoming increasingly meaningless in a corporate tax-evading world.[/QUOTE]
I don't hold to a religion, but I do respect that for some faith is a motivation to doing good for others and for the planet.
No one religion is "right" but rather all faiths if balanced with education and common sense can be of guidance in life.
Religion should not be all consuming, but a tool among many to a more acceptable relationship with others.
Myths have been a part of human life since we learned to communicate. They are a ways to help us relate to what might be too complex to grasp. Myths have always be part of civilization. You can't so casually throw them away.
