12 Years of War of Terror Body Count: 1.3 Million?

h don't worry. He won't look up the stats telling everyone how many people these terrorists have killed. He just wants to let everyone know how many the USA has killed in the war on terror
Why don't you look up the stats on how many civilians IS was killing inside Iraq and Syria prior to March 2003, Moron. When the US launched a war of aggression in 2003 it became responsible for all the evil that follows. Are you really stupid/ignorant enough to believe that evil won't come home to roost? Sure, you are.

Sorry bout that,

1. If that is true 1.2 mil have died its not enough it would seem, there is still no end to the middle easts turmoil, and they insist on being ungovernable.
2. So if we want to see and end of this crazy muslim crap we will have to get back over there and get more of them dead.

And yet you let one of the two parties who led us into that mess off the hook, showing that it's just a hack partisan issue for you and you actually don't have a problem with any of it
Except my OP specifically mentions Republicans AND Democrats:
"
How many more will have to die before Americans seriously consider prosecuting the Republicans AND Democrats who launched the War on Terror for war crimes?

Because the world is so much more peaceful today than it was in March of '03? Maybe it isn't possible to kill your way to peace?

A passing reference to both is irrelevant. Your war flag continually flies against the Republicans. Saying oh, and it's Democrats too doesn't matter since there is nothing behind that while you want to tie Republicans to the railroad tracks.

I opposed the wars when W did it and when Obama did it. And I said so. You're still more concerned about the actions of the last administration than the current one. That is faux indignation

YOU want "MASS Murder" illustration look at these pictures of Kurds GASSED by the guy you would have loved to keep in power!
THIS IS MASS murder and your hero did it to
1988: Thousands die in Halabja gas attack
Where did Saddam obtain some of the precursors used to make the poison gas he used at Halabja in 1988?

Do you think the Gipper made a mistake by removing Iraq from the State Department's list of State Sponsors of Terrorism?

Your country has been the greatest purveyor of violence in the world for generations, and all you can find to whine about is Halabja?

WOW... BREAKING NEWS!!! How long have you been alive and more importantly doe the term "COLD WAR" having any meaning to your isolated ignorance?

GEEZ NOT ONE mention that Saddam was an ALLY to the USA BECAUSE again you LIPs are so ignorant of history!!1
You from a another country has been so protected during a "COLD WAR" with USSR who's leadership for years had proxy wars around the world attempting
to subjugate countries such as yours!
Dumb idiots protected by the USA for 50 years of a "COLD WAR"! Your country probably benefited from USA protection because only idiots like you
who HAVE no knowledge of WHY the USA would help Saddam at the time a benevolent dictator.
AGAIN being a LIP you have no sense of history and therefore you make these totally already aware knowledge and make it sound like wow breaking news!!!

Finally... greatest purveyor of violence!
Please share with us what magnificence benevolent country you are from that can match the USA's trillions of dollars in AID, donations, and hundreds of thousands
of American lives to protect idiots like YOU!!!

No, what we should do is get out of there and stand back and watch them kill each other which they seem to be more than capable of doing themselves without our "help".

War is the power of the STATE...always will be
Almost a hundred years ago it dawned on a generation of Americans War is the Health of the State:
"The State is the country acting as a political unit, it is the group acting as a repository of force, determiner of law, arbiter of justice. International politics is a 'power politics' because it is a relation of States and that is what States infallibly and calamitously are, huge aggregations of human and industrial force that may be hurled against each other in war."
When Randolph Bourne wrote this famous essay the US had just won "the war to end all wars." The next generation of Americans was rewarded with World War II. The same economic forces that required millions to die in the Great Wars of the 20th Century are sealing humanity's fate in Eurasia. We are about to reap the whirlwind of a century of terror.

Morons like you obviously believe Saddam's complicity in starving 576,000 children had nothing to do with the criminal sanctions imposed on his regime by those interested in stealing Iraq's oil.

Do you honestly believe the best solution to the murder of 576,000 children was an illegal invasion and occupation of their homeland that has murdered over a million Iraqis since 2003?

And yet you let one of the two parties who led us into that mess off the hook
How did I accomplish that by specifically saying Republicans AND Democrats who supported the US invasion of Iraq deserve prosecution for war crimes?

I wasn't just referring to that narrow statement.

It would be great for libertarians and liberals to be on the same side on military issues since presumably we are on the same side. The problem is we aren't. I want to actually change US policy and dramatically reduce our milifootprint in the world. You want to do the same things we do now and just have a blue guy behind the steering wheel. Exactly what I said Obama would be in 2008, and what he has been since

Morons like you obviously believe Saddam's complicity in starving 576,000 children had nothing to do with the criminal sanctions imposed on his regime by those interested in stealing Iraq's oil

Moonbats like you keep repeating that accusation even though the reality is that we actually didn't focus on the oil after the war and we didn't have the new Iraqi government even sell oil to pay us back for putting them in power. You can't back that up with facts, yet you pound it like a red headed stepchild.

Again, this is just a partisan tool for you to elect Democrats and advance socialism

STEALING OIL??? What the f..k you think Saddam invaded Kuwait for you dummy?

Saddam could have stopped the starvation simply by doing what you claim idiots like you knew, i.e. he destroyed his WMDs.
But idiots like you can't fathom what the Liberation of Iraq meant to the 28 million Iraqis that were freed from Saddam and his vicious sons that used drills on Iraqis tongues, had lions chew Iraqis' heads off among other atrocities. There was a reason Clinton and Congress passed the 1998 Liberation of Iraq and with all the
stuff going on after 9/11 and anthrax attacks Iraq WAS the focus of elimination of a vicious dictator who no matter how much you loved him because you are such an idiot deserved his demise!

You want to do the same things we do now and just have a blue guy behind the steering wheel. Exactly what I said Obama would be in 2008, and what he has been since
Where did you get the idea I have ever supported Obama? The first thread I put up on USMB over five years ago dealt with the futility of "choosing" between Republican OR Democrat when selecting congressional candidates. Individuals from both major parties who supported attacking Iraq deserve to be prosecuted for war crimes including the Republicans who occupied the Executive Branch. (Is that what you find problematic?)

Are you confused about the role maximizing global oil production played in launching the US invasion of Iraq?

How has that turned out for the global 1%?

Please for the sake of rational discussion...

Explain why you think that Iraq was justified in NOT keeping these agreements, treaties, etc. especially when the world community agreed, Iraq invaded Kuwait.
Are you an anarchist? Do you NOT believe in the rule of law? Do you believe NO agreements should be ever made?

Then why was it wrong for the USA to keep these agreements that the USA abided by:
1) 1991 Cease Fire agreement.
2) 1998 Liberation of Iraq Act signed by Clinton/Democrats
3) Why was it right for Saddam to ignore these 62 sanctions from the UN?

Two or Three Million would have been much better
