Team leaders in corporate America are evaluated on how well their team members perform. They have as much control over that as teachers do over their students.Because your performance is based solely on what OTHER people do, and in many cases, you have no control over that.
Driver's Ed, for example. Imagine paying DE instructors less money because their former students got in accidents. They have NO control over that, and the very idea is ridiculous. Even to pay based on how many pass a driver's test is questionable. Some people are just bad drivers. Not the teacher's fault.
And don’t tell me that corporate employees choose their own team. In most cases, they’re assigned to them.
