True, But I call BS on the reality, because w/out SS, many Elders would have no money, because they simply would have spent that money and NOT invested it.

The crash of 1929 and the resulting Great Depression was a driving reason why SS was created in the first place.

Investing isn't for everyone. Many aren't disposed to take such risks with their hard-earned money.
