Greenland lost 11 billion tons of ice in one day. How does that melt compare to the past?
Scientists announced Thursday that July equaled, if not surpassed, the hottest month in recorded history. But that was not the only cause for concern.
Greenland's ice sheet melted at its most rapid rate so far this summer summer on Thursday, losing 11 billion tons of surface ice to the ocean, according to data from the Polar Portal, a website run by Danish polar research institutions, and the National Snow and Ice Data Center.

You don't want to trust air temperatures because they could be influenced by urban heat islands, then don't.
Here are ocean temperatures, with much higher accuracies.
In the antarctic the melt is due to volcanoes under the ice dumb ass.Yes.....and don't worry that those glaciers are sitting on top of volcanos....that wouldn't have anything to do with any melt we may be seeing....
That makes no sense, as glaciers generally not on volcanoes, and obviously not all volcanoes are going to suddenly become active all at once, like the melting glaciers are.

He shows data that agrees the climate is warming, but he claims not just that the actually warming is only half the model predictions, but that energy policy is based on models and not actually data.
And that is a lie.
No one is looking at the models.
They are trying to still develop models, but energy policy is ONLY based on actual data.
There is absolutely no reason to use anything but actual data.
The point of trying to perfect an accurate model is just so we can start to predict when we start getting accelerations from methane and water vapor.
So this video is lying.

First of all, the only melt off from Antarctica can be from the ice shelves, which are not on land.
Second is that volcanoes are tiny compared to the ice surface area.
Third is that Antarctica is not experiencing very much ice melt.
It is only the Arctic that is, because only the Arctic is facing the sun most of the time.

This claim, right here, demonstrates the absolute folly of global warming science. You have no idea what the daily temperature has been in that place for the past 215,000 years. Nobody knows, and to even think it's possible to know is extreme foolishness.
