Good post and pretty good exhaustive list. The most vexing thing is the $15,455,800,000,0000+ debt and counting. No matter what we are, Obama is, the next Pres, it does not matter as $20,000,000,000,000 is the final cut off.

It is mathematically impossible at that point to pay off our incurring debt. The reason is at that amount, even if government were to cease all operations and concentrate all taxes on paydown of that amount of money, it is self perpetuating.....

And that is only $4.6 trillion dollars away.......

Number 13 of the 13 points of the end of civilizations, without exception, over the last 5000 years.---Insurmountable debt.

And your comeback is noted. You, me and so many of the clear headed posters here all know this haunting pretext of demise is in a fashion, in some way, coming and coming soon, and we know that it is impossible to service that amount of money as debt, in any amount of time for paydown.

So, the reaction/response is to flee somehow the whirlwind that cometh.

But what to do?

For many, like myself, have a home where there is no crushing debt death coming. Where food, ammunition, weapons for defense and hunting is easily got. Where gas is affordable. Where there is a surplus of said government in funds, or a positive accounting at least. And where money is cheap and affordable with little or no inflation. And drive a 4x4 pre-1972, so it cannot be dazzled by microwave: (The SSIC fried and rendering vehicle immobile)-- for which is the easiest method to immobilize a modern culture's everyday transportation.

This is not alarm. It is as immutable as that -$20,000,000,000,000 amount that is coming, and it will arrive during Obama's beginning of his 2nd year of his 2nd term.

If I actually believed Obama would cut military spending significantly, I might be persuaded to vote for him. But he won't. Just as he hasn't. He'll run the same neo-con foreign policy he has been, the same as Bush's, the same that Romney would run.

They don't realize yet how much they are going to regret it, and thats pretty bad for all of us. We as citizens have one chance to do something for ourselves, and if we don't all join together to vote this bunch out, then its a lost cause.
