Second Paper Geothermal Heat Melting West Antarctica
More evidence has emerged that geothermal heat and volcanic activity beneath the ice sheet of West Antarctica is contributing to the melting of the Thwaites Glacier, the large, rapidly changing outlet of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet.
Yes, and it's been the same geothermal heat level for millions of year.
The paper said nothing about increased geothermal heat causing glaciers to melt faster. It just said the geothermal contribution to melt has been underestimated in that spot in past models.
So why are your trying to pretend it's talking about a new volcano melting glaciers? Is it deliberate dishonesty on your part, or are you just incapable of reading?
If glaciers suddenly started melting more from volcanoes, those new volcanoes would be plainly visible, as it would take many huge eruptions to melt that much ice. And those eruptions could easily be detected. So where are they?
The honest people say that since we have no evidence of new volcanoes, there are no new volcanoes. The volcano cultists will say that the invisible magic volcanoes must be there, even if there's no evidence for them, just because they have faith.
