1 out away from a no-hitter and the Dodgers give up 4 runs lose 4-3! Ouch

A World Series game ending like that would be classic. Anyone at the game though or watching it on TV was treated to the ups and downs of the sport.

I feel bad the Dodgers pitcher got that close to making history and ended up losing the game. But since the Dodgers lost, YAY!! :113:
i saw nolan ryan lose a no hitter in the 9th inning when gave up a hit ...the Angels lost 2-1....ryan lost 5 no hitters in the 9th inning....he had 12 1 hitters...

But since the Dodgers lost, YAY!!

I don't however feel bad for the Dodger pitcher as it was in his control.

I see it as paling in comparison to the Detroit Tigers hurler who lost his bid for a perfect game because of a blown call with 2 outs in the 9th. Even as a Cleveland fan it still makes me sick...

Many an important game has been blown by bad calls but a perfect game is about as rare as it gets. That game was before replay review which would have quickly reversed the call. It wasn't even close,
