Belated thanks for the rep. GST? It's an goods and services tax. Everybody pays it on almost everything you buy from hamsters to houses. Oh and you pay the tax on any service as well such as cab rides and hair cuts.
Joe average wage earner pays 5% now (down 2 % from before) but Joe rich guy pays 5% as well.
